Dr. Mark Fernandez is a 1993 graduate of the University of Missouri Dental School in Kansas City. He completed a general practice residency at St. John's Mercy Medical Center in St. Louis. He then entered a two year program for an advanced education in pediatric dentistry at Children's Mercy Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri. For his participation in various programs that involve dental care for disadvantaged children, Dr. Fernandez earned the 1993 American Dental Association Recognition Award for International Volunteer Service in Dentistry. Dr. Fernandez is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, American Dental Association, and the Greater St. Louis Dental Society.
